Tricia CummingsBased in Vancouver, Tricia leads donors and partners through the products and services of Tides Canada to tailor services to their specific needs. She has worked in the charitable sector throughout her entire career with both funding and operating charities. Tricia spent seven years with a billion-dollar-asset private family foundation, supporting charities throughout North America. She served as the Director of a BC-wide foundation that provides education scholarships and grants to charities, and which operates its own leadership and mentoring programs. Prior to working with Tides Canada, Tricia helped achieve a successful $60-million fundraising goal for a post-secondary capital campaign.
Rachel RoccoRachel Rocco returns to Tides Canada, after a year long sabbatical, to her new role as Client Services Specialist focused on Collective Giving Funds. Previously, she managed the support infrastructure for over 30 Tides Canada projects. Rachel is passionate about increasing the impact of environmental and social leaders, supporting grassroots fundraising initiatives, as well as educating the public on issues vital to Canada and Canadians. Before coming to Tides Canada, Rachel worked for over 25 years in many parts of Canada; as an administrator, artist manager, music distributor and festival organizer.
Rachel FloodRachel provides projects in Western and Central Canada with project management and administrative support. She is a passionate social entrepreneur who ran her own company helping business owners create efficiencies in administration and operational design. A writer and performance poet, Rachel started the Vancouver arts festival Sistahood Celebration as well as the local non-profit Working Arts Society. She is an energetic, experienced organizer who aligns her interest in business strategy with an intense desire to change the face of organizations to better reflect and respond to the needs of the local community.
Jillian provides projects in Ontario and Eastern Canada with project management and administrative support. She has a passion for community development across the globe. Prior to joining Tides Canada, Jillian coordinated a community development project in one of Toronto’s vibrant yet stigmatized neighbourhoods, working to strengthen residents’ voices at the community and city level. She has worked on a variety of community initiatives related to neighbourhood organizing, health promotion and youth development in rural and urban Ontario as well as Guyana. Jillian holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of Toronto with a specialization in community development.
