The goal of the mapping project is to captivate the beauty of the Spring while helping urbanites reap the psychological benefits of being outdoors, looking at beautiful blossoms, and sharing and connecting with fellow Torontonians. Tides Canada is collaborating with the Indian Residential Schools Survivor’s Society of Canada for the Reconciliation Canada initiative – a way forward through an open process of dialogue and truth-telling to connect a diversity of cultural, faith-based and multi-generational groups, aboriginal and non-aboriginal, to gain a better understanding of one another’s shared histories.
