- creating North America’s leading certification standard for local sustainable food production and labeling
- promoting local sustainable food systems that reduce reliance on fossil fuels and foster the preservation of farmland
- developing supply chains and other infrastructure for sustainably grown food by linking small and medium-sized producers with purchasers of all sizes
