We chose them for:
- their leadership in research and learning about sustainable agriculture, climate change, food security and community health
- their exceptional interactive programs for children and adults of all ages that use on-farm experiences to teach and emphasize the relationship between food, health, and the environment
- their urban aboriginal programming which supports over 700 participants, largely from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, to prepare fresh food and gain practical skills to address complex community health issues

UBC Farm is a leader in the movement to keep food local, and teach people about the land. My hat is off to everyone who is involved.
All of the products from UBC farm are consistently fresh and delicious, in addition to being very reasonably priced.
