We chose them for:

• trailblazing a pilot project to strengthen the capacity of non-profits and social venture initiatives that is being watched and evaluated across Canada  
• connecting the academic, not-for-profit, private and public sectors to incubate innovative  solutions to social problems 
• partnering with organizations that support entrepreneurial development in the private sector to ensure cross-sector collaboration  
• commencing a peer learning network that allows non-profit and social initiative leaders to collaborate and innovate
