Facing History and Ourselves teaches young people to combat bigotry and nurture democracy. Facing History remind us all of the importance of understanding the sources of hatred and taking responsibility for change.

We chose them for:

bringing teachers and students together to tackle issues like genocide and mass violence, providing youth with tools to practise compassion and engage with social justice.
opening up dialogue that supports civic learning and a healthy democracy.
