Santropol Roulant is a youth-run community hub that has trained over 1,200 volunteers and employed 155 young people. They deliver up to 90 meals a day to Montrealers living with a loss of autonomy, particularly seniors. Tlingit Family Learning Centre

Situated within one of North America’s largest remaining intact watersheds – the Tlingit Family Learning Centre offers Taku River Tlingit First Nation families child care, an after school program, language classes taught by elders, employment counseling and training. It also serves as a hub for a number of innovative conservation and sustainable economic development projects within the Taku River Watershed.
Canadian Women’s Foundation – Violence Prevention Fund
Last year CWF raised over $500,000 for programs working on violence against women. Projects supported include activities to involve teens in violence prevention, to support outreach to isolated women or to help coordinate violence prevention strategies and services in local communities.
