New Funds at Tides
We welcome the following funds to our growing community of donors and social change initiatives:
Amy Carter/Crossley & Shun Hei Lor Families Fund supports inter-alia environmental/climate change awareness, developing countries (medical and financial) funding of health facilities/research, the Arts in Canada, and providing general assistance to those in need.
David J. Sokol Endowment Fund supports efforts to protect and promote civil liberties and human rights, including access to decent, affordable health care.
Dechinta Fund supports a new generation of leaders and researchers by providing accessible and practical learning and development experiences, respectful of traditional ways in a bush environment to create dynamic, sustainable and self-determining communities.
Endswell Pivot Building Fund supports a building fund for the Pivot Foundation.
Etisah Foundation Cameroonian Youth Outreach Fund supports infrastructure projects, educational opportunities and improvement of the health and well-being of Cameroonian Youth.
Great Vow Zen Support Fund supports Zen Buddhism.
The Huntsman-Beatty Fund supports charitable activities related to social justice, wildlife and habitat conservation and animal welfare.
Lingana Charitable Fund supports educational programs for youth and children and livelihood skills for their communities in conflict areas.
MDMA/PTSD Fund supports treating conditions for which conventional medicines provide limited relief and to educate the public honestly about the risks and benefits of psychedelics and marijuana.
Small Change Fund helps to bridge the gap between those who can offer support and grassroots groups that can use that support to build more sustainable communities, preserve biodiversity, and gain a voice in their own future.
Unity Productions Fund supports the films, dialogues and educational activities of Unity Productions Foundation, whose mission is to promote peace between diverse cultures and peoples through the media.
