Messages for your online donors

Targeting messages to your donors is one of the most important steps in setting up your GiftTool Donate Page.

You want to maximize the impact and effect of your donate page as well as send a meaningful post-donation Onscreen Confirmation and Email Thank You to your donors.

In bold are the messages you can customize. When you have customized these messages, please email them to your contact at Tides Canada for final approval.

Onscreen Confirmation Text:

When the donation has been successfully processed, a confirmation message comes onscreen.

This message accompanies the e-tax receipt and is hardwired by GiftTool.

Why is this tax receipt in Adobe Portable Document Format?

1. Acrobat is the most reliable and effective way to securely share information electronically.

2. Tax receipts issued in Adobe Portable Document Format are legally recognized by the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency. Attempts to tamper with this receipt will result in it being unreadable and unusable.
