Tides Canada enables cross-border philanthropy, helping donors in the U.S. recommend grants or ongoing gifts to Canadian charities. Whether you are new to philanthropy or an established donor, we work with you to do the most with your money, your ideas and your ideals.

Working with Tides Foundation in the United States, we can help donors in the U.S. recommend grants to Canadian registered charities.

Here’s how it works:

• You complete this form and mail it with your donation to Tides Foundation in the U.S.
• Subject to the requirements of Tides Foundation, your donation will be acknowledged and receipted, and Tides Foundation may advise your grant recommendation to the Canadian registered charity.
• Your Canadian charity of choice receives the grant in four to six weeks in a Canadian dollar amount equivalent to your U.S. dollar gift.

All donations to Tides Foundation must be $1,000 USD or greater.

That's great! Though smaller donations are not eligible for U.S. tax benefits from Tides Foundation, you can still make a contribution to the Canadian charity of your choice.
