Climate Change Solutions
Our Climate Change Solutions Fund is focused on multi-sector dialogue and strategic public education campaigns on climate change. In 2007, donors to the fund supported the distributions of “An Inconvenient Truth” to public schools throughout BC and Ontario, and the hosting of Canada’s first multi-sector collaboration and conference on Climate Change: Take the Lead BC.
Conservation of the Great Bear Rainforest
The Great Bear Rainforest Conservation Fund supports a unique solution that integrates environmental socio-economic, and cultural needs into a large-scale conservation vision for one of the earth’s environmental treasures — British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest. Tides leads the Canadian fundraising campaign to ensure a healthy future for the rainforest.
Social Justice
The Tides Canada Social Justice Fund supports organizations and programs that address the root causes and structural issues of social and economic marginalization in Canada.
