International Gifts for Canadian Charities
We make it easy for Americans and Canadians with U.S.-sourced income to support their Canadian charities
Working with Tides Foundation in the U.S., we can help donors and institutions in the U.S. support Canadian registered charities.
Here’s how it works:
- Donors with U.S.-sourced income can contribute to the Tides Canada Exchange Fund at Tides Foundation, a 501(c)(3) registered charity in the United States.
- Your donor requests that Tides Foundation make a grant recommendation to Tides Canada Foundation in support of your charity.
- Subject to the requirements of Tides Foundation, your donor will be acknowledged and receipted, and Tides Foundation may advise your donor’s grant recommendation to your Canadian registered charity.
- Within four to six weeks, your charity receives a grant for the CDN dollar equivalent of the U.S. dollar gift.
