Canadian Charities
Do you have U.S. donors interested in supporting your charity?
We help Canadian charities leverage gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations based in the U.S. By connecting your U.S. donors with our international grant-making program, you can benefit from their support and continue to work towards your charity’s mission.
To help your U.S. donor initiate a gift, simply contact Tides Canada with the following information:
- Name and website of your charity and the purpose of the gift. The purpose of the gift can be for the general operations of the charity, or for a specific program within the charity.
- Value of the gift. Please note, all gifts must be $1,000 USD or greater.
- Form of payment. We are able to accept gifts by cheque, securities, or wire transfer.
We will then provide you with a donation form for your donor, a timeline for fulfilling the gift and a summary of the associated costs. For eligible gifts, a U.S. charitable tax receipt will be issued by Tides Foundation in the U.S. for your donor within 4-6 weeks of the gift.
