Do you have Canadian donors interested in supporting your charity?
Canadian donors have a long history of supporting charitable causes that matter to them around the world. We work with charities outside Canada to help leverage support from generous Canadian donors.
One-time grant recommendations
To help your Canadian donor initiate a gift, simply contact Tides Canada with the following information:
- Purpose of the gift. The purpose of the gift can be for the general operations of the charity, or for a specific program within the charity.
- Value of the gift. Please note, all gifts must be $1,000 CAD or greater.
- Form of payment. We are able to accept gifts cheque, securities, wire transfer, credit card.
We will then provide you with a donation form for your donor, a timeline for fulfilling the gift and a summary of the associated costs. For eligible gifts, a Canadian charitable tax receipt will be issued by Tides Canada Foundation for your donor within 4-6 weeks of the gift.
On-going Canadian fundraising through a donor advised fund
A donor advised fund is an efficient alternative to setting up a Canadian charitable foundation. We making it easy for you to manage your charitable giving, fundraising and grant-making.
