Great Bear Expeditions
Over the past 4 years, Tides Canada has invited donors on a journey to experience the magic of the Great Bear Rainforest.
Sailing through the protected channels and fjords of British Columbia’s wild coast, donors explore rich forested valleys, and observe grizzlies and black bears fishing and feeding and watch whales, porpoises, eagles, and sea lions in a spectacular natural setting.
Donors learn about the area’s unique natural history and plans to protect biodiversity in the region.
On these expeditions, donors witness first-hand the quality and scale of the integrated conservation project, and view the continuing opportunities for sustainability in the Great Bear Rainforest.
