Manager, Pacific Programs

The Manager, Pacific Programs is responsible for initiating, directing, and implementing a comprehensive range of activities that strengthen the work of Tides Canada and its partners in the region.

During this twelve-month fixed-term role, the Manager, Pacific Programs will work with the Strategic Programs Director and other Tides Canada staff and advisors to provide strategic support and advice for our work in BC and Yukon, with particular emphasis on working with other parties to promote conservation, build and sustain community capacity for conservation, and develop appropriate conservation financing mechanisms, mobilizing and facilitating our collaboration with other funders focused on the region.

Tides Canada convenes a funder affinity group called the GBR Funder Collaborative. This collaborative identifies and supports shared conservation objectives in the region, working with First Nations, communities, governments, NGOs, and industries.
