Product Manager, Project Neutral

Flexible location (team is based in Toronto); some travel within Ontario anticipated | Full-time (2-year term) | Apply by January 15, 2018

Project Neutral (PN), a project on Tides Canada’s shared platform is an ambitious initiative to enable
household action on climate change. Canadians overwhelmingly support climate action, but many of us don’t know where to start. PN is here to help. As a world-leading social innovator helping residents understand their environmental impact and make positive change, PN gives residents the tools to shift to a low-carbon lifestyle with personalized carbon footprinting, prioritized actions, and ongoing support.

With new multi-year funding from Ontario’s Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, PN is poised to
grow. We’re investing in our tech platform, adding new features that will help us engage more
households, and expanding our footprint to five new cities across Ontario.

The Product Manager plays a critical role at PN, overseeing the design, development and operation of our digital engagement platform (household carbon benchmarking and impact measurement web app, website, and communication infrastructure). You are deeply committed to creating engaging user experiences and are responsive to user feedback. You’ve got your finger on the pulse of emerging tech and are strategic about developing tools now and for the future. You’re a boundary spanner, equally comfortable speaking with developers and executives. You can manage complex projects with ease and thrive in a collaborative, evolving environment.
