Reel Youth in Nepal

Tides Canada project, Reel Youth, recently went on a two month trip to Nepal where they led a UN Habitat funded youth film project. Reel Youth worked with young people from the organization Prisoners Assistance (PA) Nepal to bring (and leave) equipment, teach them how to make their own films, and help set up a video production business.

One of the volunteers at PA Nepal started a program in the US called PhotoPals. In Nepal, she taught kids from PA Nepal’s Jinkirri school class 3 to 5 the elements of photography. Below are a few photos from the students in the class.
