Big Wild Fund

The Big Wild Fund is a joint initiative between MEC (Mountain Equipment Coop) and CPAWS (the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society) that supports wilderness conservation across Canada.

Canadian Boreal Forest Agreement Secretariat

The Canadian Boreal Forest Agreement Secretariat is responsible for overseeing and proving project management, logistical, convening, communications, government relations and technical support to the joint implementation of the Canadian Boreal Forest Agreement.

Canadian Boreal Fund

This fund supports the goals of the Boreal Forest Conservation Framework established by the Canadian Boreal Initiative — an alliance of conservation organizations, First Nations, industry, and others committed to safeguarding Canada’s vast boreal forests and wetlands.

Canopy (Markets Initiative)

Canopy has established the Canopy Fund at Tides Canada Foundation for the purpose of safeguarding forests and the environment.

Cortes Ecoforestry Fund

This fund supports the charitable work of the Cortes Ecoforestry Society, a grassroots organization that has developed one of Canada’s few ecosystem-based community forest plans.

Give Green Canada (G2)

Give Green Canada helps environmental and conservation organizations (eNGO’s) maximize revenue with a focus on green legacies by providing online tools and training.

Guarding the Gifts – The Liiłga K’yilama Fund

Guarding the Gifts supports and enhances the local and global community by developing initiatives in the Great Bear Rainforest that foster sustainability and create social equity in traditional Gitga’at First Nation’s Territory.

Headwaters Initiative Project

The Headwaters Initiative Project works to create a more informed and connected community engaged in the conservation of some of British Columbia’s great rivers.

Island Conservation Canada

Island Conservation Canada is dedicated to preventing extinctions and protecting natural ecological and evolutionary processes on islands.

Organizing for Change

Organizing for Change (OFC) is a collaborative project of some of BC’s largest and best-known environmental organizations.

Pacific Wild

Pacific Wild has established the Pacific Wild Fund at Tides Canada Foundation for the purpose of supporting conservation of British Columbia’s coastal wildlife.

Rainforest Solutions Project

The Rainforest Solutions Project is a joint initiative of ForestEthics, Greenpeace Canada, and Sierra Club of BC. RSP promotes conservation options and economic alternatives to industrial logging on British Columbia’s Central Coast, North Coast and Haida Gwaii.

Skeena Watershed Fund

Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition (SWCC) has established the Skeena Watershed Fund at Tides Canada Foundation for the purpose of supporting education, research and community building activities in the Sacred Headwaters region of BC.

Small Change Fund

Small Change Fund believes in people. We believe people know how to figure out and fix the problems in their communities, their cities, their countries. We believe people can make change without long studies, thick reports, and big money. We believe people want to help each other. We believe in making that simple.

Uncommon Solutions Fund

The Uncommon Solutions Fund provides general support for Tides Canada in its pursuit to pool the best ideas, strategies, people, and capital to achieve uncommon solutions for the most challenging environmental and social issues of our time.
