Genocide Intervention Network Fund
The Genocide Intervention Network (GI-NET) has established the Genocide Intervention Network Fund at Tides Canada Foundation for the purpose of supporting charitable activities. Donors to Tides Canada Foundation may request that their donation be added to the Genocide Intervention Network Fund and, subject to the requirements of the Income Tax Act, will receive a charitable tax receipt.
The Genocide Intervention Network aims to increase public awareness about genocide and support government policies, organizations, and initiatives designed to help prevent and stop genocide.
GI-NET’s theory of change is based on the recognition that a diverse cross-section of the world’s population cares deeply about ending and preventing genocide, regardless of where it might occur. Their innovative tools and programs provide citizens with the resources to educate, organize, and advocate in their communities.
