Working to achieve the ambitious goal of all Canada’s waters in good health by 2030.
Our Living Waters (OLW) is a collaborative network of organizations working together under a common strategic framework to achieve the ambitious goal of all Canada’s waters in good health by 2030.
Our Living Waters is about amplifying the influence and impact of the many, diverse organizations – from foundations and companies to cottage associations and environmental groups to indigenous communities and fishing clubs – that make up Canada’s water community.
Seeded by a series of conversations, gatherings and studies on how to strengthen the water movement in Canada, Our Living Waters has developed into a Network that is driving collaboration, uniting voices, and providing a common basis, through our shared measurement system, to measure progress toward our ambitious goal at the heart of it all: All waters in Canada in good health by 2030.
We trust in what OLW represents: we believe in the shared values, the dialogue, and the ambitious and essential goal. As a funder we also see value in leveraging our funds to support both the core capacity of OLW and strategic projects led by Canadian water leaders. Finally, as a member of the water community, we support OLW because it is a great learning opportunity and chance to be part of an action-oriented collaborative.
