Project Neutral is an ambitious initiative to transition neighbourhoods to carbon neutrality. A primarily volunteer-led grassroots initiative, Project Neutral is supporting local and national greenhouse gas reduction efforts. By allowing households to benchmark and compare their carbon footprint to other households at the neighbourhood and city-level, as well as to municipal reduction targets, Project Neutral is creating a culture of awareness around greenhouse gas emissions and connecting individuals to actions.
