Alison leads Communications for Tides Canada, including a wide range of marketing, development, external and internal communications, public relations, and media activities. Working directly with the President and CEO, she provides Board and senior leadership communications support. As steward of Tides Canada’s brand, she works with partners across our diverse tools, services, issues, and geographies to deliver communications and marketing strategies and plans.
She has an MA in Media and Communications from the University of London, England and a BA in English Literature from the University of Victoria, BC. Prior to joining Tides Canada in 2011, Alison developed creative communications and marketing for multiple private and nonprofit sector organizations including the Nova Scotia Nature Trust and the Vancouver Food Bank.
